Frequently Asked Questions

Are your courses approved for my state continuing education requirements?

Most states that have continuing education requirements will accept American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) approved courses. If you are unsure whether your state will accept our courses, please check with your State representative.

Are your online courses live or pre-recorded?

All of our classes are always taught live by an instructor on a scheduled class day. Each live class is then recorded, allowing our students to watch the class at a later time. Live classes enable students to ask questions and interact with the instructors in real time.

Do you provide course material for students?

Yes, all students enrolled in any of our programs will receive access to a student dashboard that contains all your course materials, which can be accessed from your PC or mobile device.

Do your programs meet the ARRT 16 hour didactic requirement?

Yes, all of our ASRT-approved registry review and preparation courses meet the ARRT 16-hour didactic requirement.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 2007. AIR was one of the first to offer registry review courses in the NY & NJ areas. Since then, we have taken our live programs online and have successfully served over 5,000 technologists worldwide.

How often is the IV injection certification course offered?

The IV injection certification course is offered six times a year: in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

I am not an RT, can I still take the IV contrast Injection certification course?

Yes, the IV contrast injection certification course has been designed for all medical imaging technologists. It is particularly suitable for professionals in the fields of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Radiation Therapy.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards. You can submit your payment online or by calling 718-577-2782.

What is the difference between A and A+ credits?

A+ credits are specifically designated for Radiologist's Assistants (RA). If you are solely a radiologic technologist (RT), you can apply either A or A+ credits towards your biennium.

Which licensing organizations will accept your courses?

Any organization accepting ASRT approved courses will honor all our programs. Our courses are also accepted by ARRT, ARDMS, NMTCB, and AMRIT.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Yes, a certificate of completion will be issued to all students who successfully pass the course. Certificates will be issued on the last day of class and uploaded to your student dashboard under My Documents for long-term retrieval.

Can I enroll in a advanced modality course if I am not a Radiologic Technologist?

No, enrollment in advanced modality courses is typically limited to licensed radiologic technologists. If you are not a licensed radiologic technologist, you may want to explore alternative options such as Rad Tech Assistant or Limited Scope Radiographer programs.
