Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
This 12-week examination preparation program is designed to provide students with a structured, comprehensive review of the knowledge and clinical concepts necessary for success on the CCI RCIS and ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography examinations.
The program combines pre-recorded instructional lessons, instructor-led review, weekly discussion boards, examination-style questions, case-based learning, and cumulative assessments. The program has been approved by the ASRT for 48 category “A” continuing education credits and ARRT for structured education. All of the major topics and outlined areas listed in the exam specifications will be covered, making this program a very good preparation for this examination.
The program is not intended to replace clinical education or establish eligibility for either examination. Rather, it serves as an intensive examination-review program designed to help candidates identify knowledge gaps, strengthen clinical reasoning, and become familiar with the types of concepts and decision-making required on the credentialing examinations. Students are required to obtain 600 clinical hours for current healthcare providers and 800-clinical hours for new students entering the profession.
