Summer Exploration Program
The Summer Exploration Program in Healthcare with a focus in Medical Imaging is a four-day, hands-on educational experience designed for middle and high school students in grades 7–12 who are interested in healthcare, science, and technology. Hosted by Advanced Imaging Review at the Center for Radiology Education’s Sarasota, Florida campus, this program provides students with a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate introduction to medical imaging and patient care.
Students will explore how medical imaging supports the diagnosis and treatment of patients through interactive lessons, demonstrations, and guided activities led by experienced imaging professionals. The program takes place in a radiation-free educational environment, allowing students to learn with confidence and peace of mind.
In addition to exploring medical imaging, students will complete CPR training and earn American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification, providing them with an essential life-saving skill and a valuable early credential for future academic and healthcare opportunities.
